Dear Year 5 Pupils,

Following parental feedback, we have adapted our lessons this week to include more narrated lessons which hopefully will support the children further in their understanding of the learning. We hope you find it useful! If you have any further feedback or questions, please email reception@elps.co.uk specifying ‘FAO Ms Duong – Year 5’ and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.

In Geography, we will be exploring the continent of South America. As an introductory lesson, we will be learning about the physical and human geography of the continent that make South America unique- its countries, cities, languages, samba music and its forests and islands full of distinct species.

This week in Religious Studies, we will continue to learn about the origins of Judaism, with the story of Moses in Exodus. Examine how Moses freed the Hebrews from slavery from the Egyptians and how the 10 commandments came to be in Jewish lore.
